Hairlucinations is delighted to present to you the new Sybil wig from the Amore collection by Rene of Paris. This is a super stylish layered bob with a flattering side swept fringe. Amore are renowned for fibres that last and styles that are always on trend.
Here are the measurements so you can make a considered decision where the style will fit against your own features. The fringe measures approximately 19cm, and can be worn swept to the right or left. The crown measures about 21cm, whilst the nape measures approximately 12cm. When trying on the the Sybil, we found that it was snug fit. The ear tabs sat higher than normal, so just be aware that, if you are wearing this over your own biological hair, your own hair may show. The Sybil may be better suited if you have complete or partial hair loss.
The cap construction is extra special as it has lots of the lovely Amore features. There is a double MONOFILAMENT top which not only creates the illusion that the fibre is coming from your own scalp, it also has an extra soft layer which will sit really comfortable against your skin. There is an extended LACE FRONT, so you can happily sweep the fringe away from your forehead without any unsightly wig edge showing. This wig is also hand tied. This may be another reason why the style fits more snug, as you do not get the same give with handtied designs as you would do if it was wefted.
There is, though, room for about 3cm give at the nape. Simply tighten, or slacken the circumference as you so desire.
The density of the Sybil wig is low. It weighs approximately 2.7-2.9oz, so it does not have lots of heavy volume. Lower density wigs are perfect in replicating your own biological hair, as when you pop them on your head, they do not look as if you suddenly have masses of hair. The shape of the Sybil moves really well. This is because of the hand tied construction and the lower density. You can run your fingers through your hair and it will feel soft and natural, just as if it was your own bio hair.
The Sybil is a pretty, layered bob which has a nape that finishes just past collar length. The side layers have been textured slightly so that they fall towards your face, with a subtle razored shape. This type of shape is ultra versatile, as you can style the side layers behind your ears for a more casual and relaxed silhouette should you prefer. If you wear this piece due to hair loss, this is where you can comfortably secure your wig with wig tape for additional security.
